Burning mouth from one month due to herpes?

Exposure: 12 weeks back protected vaginal and unprotected oral from both side.
Symptoms: sciatica like pain in right side.On and off pain in thigh , groin and hip from 10 weeks which is started after 2 weeks of exposure.
Burning mouth from one month which is started after 8 weeks of exposure.
Test: hsv igg and igm negative at 4 weeks.
Hsv igg negative at 6,8,11 weeks with hsv1 reading > 0.01 and hsv2 reading > 0.5 by CLIA method and test done in india's renowned lab. Reading us exactly same in all igg tests.
Hiv negative at 11 weeks by elisa 4 generation.
Syphilis, chlamedia, hepatitis b and c at 4 weeks nevative.
Hiv Rna pcr negative 4 weeks.

Now depressed because of burning mouth and went to dermatologist, ENT specialist, MD. They didn't suspect hsv but MD didn't deny possibility because of just burning mouth.

Took extreme stress immediately after exposure due to fear of hiv and hsv. Took.girl after 6 weeks for testing. Her hiv negative but hsv igg 1 and 2 combine positive = 17. Did mistake to conduct combine igg but after that didn't able to contact girl.

I know that my symptoms can be due to anxiety only but i am in very trouble due to this symptoms. And i am sure my next igg will be same that is negative. Please help what can it be.

I agree - burning for this long with negative tests and no outbreak isn't herpes. You aren't doing yourself any favors by focusing on herpes and not looking for other causes. Maybe it's stress or anxiety, maybe it's something else, but you should really work with a specialist to figure it out.

Mouth burning may be because of an allergy (you can develop an allergy at any age), nutritional deficiencies (as was already mentioned), acid reflux, a side effect to certain meds, and more, including anxiety and stress.

Your leg and thigh pain didn't start until later, but could be caused by Meralgia paresthetica, sciatica, diabetes, Peripheral neuropathy, and other things, including anxiety.

Since you have both, I'd think anxiety, but I am NOT a doctor, and would urge you to continue to work with your doctor to find out the cause.

13 week test (exact 89 days) is also negative for type specific igg and igm both.
Result:

HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS (HSV) 1 IgG, SERUM @ (CLIA) <0.0100

HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS (HSV) 1 IgM, SERUM @
(EIA)  0.26

HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS (HSV) 2 IgG, SERUM @
(CLIA)
<0.500

HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS (HSV) 2 IgM, SERUM @
(EIA)
0.22

Now planning to meet neurologist to work out on symptoms.
There is no change in igg reading since last 2 months..and i heard CLIA is more sensitive than elisa.

                                        Sensitivity                        Specificity

HSV  I  IgG                    97.5  %                                       97.5 %

HSV  II  IgG                   94.8-100  %                             97.57-99.99%
It doesn't matter which is more sensitive at this point. You've had enough tests come back negative to know that you don't have it.

Best of luck with the neuro!

Hi, after having a negative result for IGG specific HSV2 and hsv1 at 11 weeks, there is a very good chance you might not have herpes. But you can test again in a few months so it can be conclusive.
But about your burning mouth is it inside your mouth or on the lips only? What did the doctors say it could be? Oral thrush? Any prescriptions they gave you?

Forgot to ask how long do the episodes of burning mouth last? 5, 30 minutes or 1 hour or is it constantly burning?
Mostly on tongue but sometimes on lips, hard pallete. ENT refused any viral infection.
Burning sensation sometimes last for hours in a day. Almost constant. But when my mind is occupied somewhere else i don't feel it. M very worried when it will stop because hsv symptoms last 2-3 weeks usually but burning mouth i am suffering from 1 month and leg and thigh pain from 2.5 months.
ENT gave me anti anxiety pill and one mouth oral paste and vitamin b complex.
Also there is no outbreak anywhere, no fever, no throat infection just this burning mouth and had 1-2 mouth ulcers and this buttock-thigh pain. But don't know where to go to get relief from this problem. Planning to ask doctor to give me anti viral medication course to see if it helps.  Please tell me if it is right ir not.
Hi, I still think it is not herpes, but something more neurological and would see a pain specialist or neurologist. Though you have burning mouth and pain in your hip and buttocks, that would mean you would be infected in both the labial and genitals. I also have burning but it is in my lips only and comes and goes and only last anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 hour. It is really discomforting and went to urgent care and was only given acyclovir 400mg 3 x times a day. But I am already taking it for suppression. At first I thought it was thrush, but don't have the symptoms and doctors says the same.  Says I have symptoms of an ob,  but I think more and more it might be PHN. I also get dry chapped and peeling lips. Doc said that I need a physical and blood test because I might a vitamin defiency or something out of wack in my system.
Oh I found a very good medical article giving a detail description of possibly reasons for burning mouth syndrome. I will try to find it and post the link.
From ur some other post i got to know ur igg is positive. How long it took in ur case for igg test became positive?
Also leg pain i am feeling from almost 2.5 months. It is not normal case in hsv. God knows what is this but i am truly messed up.
It took me 8 weeks to be positive with another test at 12 weeks also positive
