Herpes Swab Test

Hello, about three weeks ago I had a protected sexual encounter with an escort, no sex, only rubbing and a little humping. I was scared out of my mind and regret that episode of my drunken weekend... three days after I got tested positie for Chlamydia and had the antibiotics but the Doc said I probably had this from way back(dont know what to think). After this I began to examine every inch of my body and making every tiny mark I had much worst from touching and.trying to pop somerhing. This monday I had a bump on my pubic region. I went to a dermatologist who took swab test of my urethra, the bump and other parts of my genital area. He.said it was a Candidiasis related folliculitis and that I should stop worrying over herpes. Two days after that, and stupidly, I squeezed the bump hard and a white yellowish pus came out. So I freaked out again... my question is how accurate are the swab tests done? He.also took a urine sample. Also is it normal for herpes sores to burst out this kind of pus? Thanks for any input. Currently going through some hard, paranoid days

The swab tests are very accurate if the swab is done correctly and at the correct time. Your exposure really is a very very low risk to no risk encounter. Put herpes out of your mind. You have better odds of being hit by a bus.
