Can I have Sex with herpetic whitlow
Hi guys, I was with a girl 4 months ago and had sex with her, I used a condom but I fingered her then I was diagnosed with herpetic whitlow type 1 a week later. I have never had an outbreak on my Genitals, Or mouth. But only on my Finger. I can't seem to find any answers but can I have un protected sex with someone, since Its type 1 and on my finger and not on my genitals? Or can I still pass it on. I am not having sex with anyone Until I know because I don't want to pass it on. Also I would refrain from using my finger on her too.

Yes, your infection will stay where it is not on your genitals. Herpes whitlow doesn't shed either so unless your having an outbreak you won't spread it from your hand.
I'm in the same boat as you mate, hsv-1 whitlow! Share notes if you like. You are a bit ahead if me, i'm quite new.
