Can you get herpes from a lipgloss tester?

Yesterday I applied a very small amount of lipgloss onto my lips from a tester product at Ulta. I absolutely regretted it as soon as I did because I began to think of the amount of other people who have used the sample product as well. Is it possible that I could get herpes from this? I’m so mad at myself for doing something so stupid.

It's possible, but you're more likely to get strep, staph, colds, flus, meningitis, etc., than herpes. (Yeah, I know. I'm sorry.)

Thank you for replying. What about HPV? Sorry for asking another question.
Also possible.

Here's a study that mentions it, but it's hard to separate it out from other risk factors, like oral sex, to really know the chances from the makeup sharing or sharing a toothbrush. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5528151/
