Can a person feel symptoms within 1 or 2 hours if theyve been newly infected???

I am in a relationship. I have genital herpes and he does not. I had sex with my spouse when i felt a slight itch. I felt the itch on my vagina lip but the morning we had sex i didnt really feel the itch. We used a condom and he had on his boxers. Some of my vagina liquids were on his boxers but i dont think there was any skin to skin contact. An hour later he said he felt something in his lower right side of his back like ants in his skin and like an itch. Could he be infected and felt something within an hour?
This happened 3 days ago.Im so worried i can barely eat or sleep. Please any advice

The answer to your question is no. Hsv takes days to notice symptoms. He was at no real risk of acquiring hsv  from this exposure. Vaginal fluids are not a efficient way to spread the virus. Herpes is not concentrated in fluids.

Thank you so much for responding. My anxiety has been through the roof!!! So just to make sure i understand. If my fluids did get on him by chance he would not get it? Because on some sites they were saying its mucousal and if it gets on his skin it can go through the cracks of his skin. He had his penis through the hole of his boxers and i touched his boxers and they were a little wet from me but im not sure if my wetness touched his skin even with all of those barriers. Then an hour or 2 later he said it felt like a ton of ants were crawling under his skin or like fat burning type of tingling on his back above his buttocks and kind of near his hip. He was trying to scratch and asking me if there was a bite there nothing was there. The next day he was scratching the same area and then said it was itching where he had the tinhling sensation. My outbreak came later that day so ive been afraid i infected him because of this. Sorry for the long comment
Your fluids are no threat to him. In all honesty what you read is far more a theoretical possibility than a real world one. Remember all the health books stating you can easily catch oral hsv1 by sharing drinks...etc while we onow now this is not a risk at all.
In my opinion he had about as much chance of getting herpes from this as he does being struck by lightning.
Okay i hope im not being annoying but i have just one more question. So even tho that night i had some prodrome ache and a little itchiness and then the next morning when we had sex i didnt really feel those signs and the outbreak came later that day he should be okay since we used a condom and his penis was through the boxer hole? Im just making sure im not leaving out any details that would make a difference. He had on boxer briefs so the boxer covered him up for the most part so im thinking only wetness got on him if anything but it was really on his boxers. He just really scared me when he said he felt those feelings in his back and it was itching because it sounds just like prodrome.
You won't have any prodrome symptoms with a primary outbreak. Those can come with future outbreak. That's jus another fact
To answer your question. Yes, wearing a cindom is 95% effective on it's own. The. Boxers really protected the other 5% in my opinion. No std is contracted through clothing. I see no reason to be overly concerned about this exposure
Thank you so much!!! I was making myself sick. I really appreciate you, your patience, and knowledge.
You're very welcome. Sorry for all the typos!! I was hammering out the response (obviously to quickly) on my phone. Lol
Not a problem. I knew what you meant lol
