Igg reading for HSV-2

I am a 32 year old male.   About a week ago I received oral sex from a stripper at a bachelor party but had a condom on.  I recently got an 8 panel STD test via Labcorp and my Igg reading for HSV-2 came out to 1.32 (about 4 days after my encounter, test was taken, and 3 days later i received my results.)

I am very nervous and scared and would like to know the following:

1) How accurate is the Igg test to confirming that I have HSV-2?  Can this reading be a false positive?
2) What are the next steps I should take?
3) I am very scared for giving HSV-2 to my wife, how and when should I tell her?  I do not want to keep this info
from her at all, but I want to tell her at the right moment.
4) Should I make an appointment with a doctor for further testing?

Please advise.  Many thanks.

protected oral sex is no risk for std's. there was never any reason for any testing from this encounter and also most of your std testing from it was done far too early anyways.

your hsv2 igg is a low positive and will need confirmed with further testing. odds are neither you nor your wife were ever tested for herpes before this to be honest so at this point, she 'll need tested too to see what her status is and if she's hsv2 negative, you can seek out a herpes WB blood test to confirm if you had a false positive hsv2 igg result on your testing or not. No reason to wait for the WB because of this encounter, you were never at risk for hsv2 from it.
