Ok thanks for trying I will ask my doctor what test he did but for the other questions concerning drinking glasses etc can you answer that for me please
I'm sorry but I can't help you with the test you had done. I'm not familiar with the false positive/false negative issues of it to feel confident commenting on it.

Ok Grace, can you look at my posts on my results and let me know what you think please?
No I am not from the US I am from the Caribbean. The breakdown that I gave is what I am confused about because it states if you read at a certain level you are positive so why my doctor told me that I am only positive for HSV1 and not 2 also. If its only HSV1 I have is it safe to go ahead and share drinking glasses and etc once I don't have a cold sore. Or I need to stay away from that totally, should I be retested since this is my first test results. If you say yes be tested again should it be the same place or somewhere different.
please read our read before posting post. you have posted your results in several posts now and it's best to just start your own post so we can discuss your own situation separately and keep it simple - thanks!

I just recieved my results IGG HSV-1 NEGATIVE 0.862 AND HSV-2 NEGATIVE 0.550, I dont understand this as I had a coldsaw when I was little, which surely would mean Id test positive for HSV-1?
you have had a test of which I am not familiar with as far as false + and false- issues.
are you in the US?
