Confused with my results

Hi I am a bit puzzle with my results this was my results

Herpes Type 1 IgG       PIV =1.95     Seropositive
Herpes Type 2 IgG       PIV =1.80     Seropositive

1.00-184  Low Positive
1.85-3.34 Mid Positive
>3.35 High Positive

Should I take a next one to confirm the results my doctor told me that I am positive for herpes 1.  Is the test reading right please help me

Ok thanks for trying I will ask my doctor what test he did but for the other questions concerning drinking glasses etc can you answer that for me please

I'm sorry but I can't help you with the test you had done. I'm not familiar with the false positive/false negative issues of it to feel confident commenting on it.

No I am not from the US I am from the Caribbean. The breakdown that I gave is what I am confused about because it states if you read at a certain level you are positive so why my doctor told me that I am only positive for HSV1 and not 2 also. If its only HSV1 I have is it safe to go ahead and share drinking glasses and etc once I don't have a cold sore. Or I need to stay away from that totally, should I be retested since this is my first test results. If you say yes be tested again should it be the same place or somewhere different.

I just recieved my results IGG HSV-1 NEGATIVE 0.862 AND HSV-2 NEGATIVE 0.550, I dont understand this as I had a coldsaw when I was little, which surely would mean Id test positive for HSV-1?

you have had a test of which I am not familiar with as far as false + and false- issues.
