Confused with symptoms, herpes?

I made a big mistake about 2 months ago, and had unprotected sex with a girl I didn't even know. About 6 weeks later I started noticing symptoms. My butt was itchy right around the hole, I had groin rash that was also itchy. Now and again I was noticing a red swelling on the tip Of my penis. What got me worried though was a weird discmort/dull pain in my testis, prostate and tip of the penis especially when not being active. This has stuck around now for about a month, now the head of my penis an underside of foreskin is almost always red, the dull pain in the region almost always there and thobs sometimes. itching comes and goes in my anus and grOin and penis tip. My armpits have recently become uncomfortable and itchy and I get a throbbing headache thAt comes and goes. Once or twice only I got this weird shooting pain down my left leg that only lasted like a second but that I've never experienced before.. I'm really stressed abou the whole thing which could influence symptoms because I have a sweetheart of a girlfriend that I'm going to have to tell about this, ive been working away from home and her all summer. I took fluconazole today, because some symptoms seemed like they could be from yeast, only not really the pain in the region. Herpes seems like a possibility from what I've read, only the redness on my tip can come and go and hasn't really threatened to blister over or open into an open sore. I have had std tests which come in tomorrow. Could this be herpes, nothing ever says whether outbreaks cAn be less severe and not blister. Could a yeast infection give me the genital region dull pain and headache? I'm sorry for the essay any help is greatly appreciated.

this sounds more like a yeast/fungal infection than any std.  since you had unprotected sex, you can follow up with proper testing at the proper times. you can test for trich, ngu, chlamydia and gonorrhea any time after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months post encounter.  just make sure all the testing you had done was done at the proper times ( obviously it wasn't if it's only been 2 months ) and repeat any testing done too early at the proper times.

Hi grace thanks for your reply. Since Sunday I started taking fluconazole and using lamisil cream for fungal infection. It seems to be working on my penis head, but my groin rash is getting worse and spread to my pubic hair, and my armpits developed a pretty bad visible rash. I'm still getting pain in my groin/prostate/penis that's is like a deep throb and still getting headaches. Any other insight/ advice?  my tests came back negative but as u say I need to go back in another month for HIV and hepatitis testing. I'm guessing/ hoping from my internet research that I just have a fungal infection, and stress and lack of use is causing some symptoms like prostatitis, and stress is causing my headaches and making me overtired...in your experience can penis and prostate pain be the result of fungal infections or stress? Does a underarm and groin rash indicate anything to u?

Hi again,
I wanted to ask you about the symptoms I currently have, and what I should ask the doctor about and what tests a d exams I should get.
I still have dull pain in the penis and prostate which can become sharp and throbbing occasionally. I have one small red round, flat bump on the underside of my glans which has been there throughout and sometimes seems to be where the throbbing pain is located. I used to have a flat red rash in my groin, but I took flucomiozone( yeast infection pill) and it cleared up but is replaced by several small raised  red pimples on my thigh lower abdomen and groin, I picked at one of them and it scanned over. I have way more. Umps than usual in the whole region, and a rash in my armpits. I get pretty bad headaches dull and almost all day, sometimes sharp and throbbing. Currently I am worried about HIV, hsv

Hpv, and yeast infection but I guess it could be anything. I forgot to mention my glans and the underside of my foreskin gets red and swollen sometimes, with some red spots and one part that looks raised up and rippley.
So I'm going to the doctor Wednesday and I'm just wondering what I should get swabbed, I know I need a HIV test which is my biggest concern, is there a particular type of HIV test to request? it has now been 3 months since exposure. and what about urine test etc... Thanks for everything, your advice has been really helpful.

going to your regular provider for an exam is a good idea. they can order some basic urine testing, do a manual exam of your prostate and also look at your rash.
