Anxiety or herpes?

I had a sexual encounter with a woman who has confirmed hsv2. A week ago I fingered her and then about 10 minutes after used the same hand to put a condom on. We were going to have sex and I had the tip of penis (with condom on) inside but decided against it and we stopped at that point. She had no active outbreak at the time. About three days later I woke up with a sore throat which has now just progessed to a mild cough and some nasal congestion. I read that flu like symptoms can be a sign of a first outbreak. I also have simultaneously been having an issue with my underwear being too tight and I work out everyday and two days ago noticed a red rash on the groin crease where my leg meets my groin. I read it could be jock itch due to my tight underwear and sweat and I also recently shaved my Pubic hair to better check for any bumps or sores. I bought antibacterial soap and Lotrimin ultra. Yesterday the rash was pretty red, no visible bumps or sores or Blisters and after applying Lotrimin twice yesterday and once this morning it appears to be fading a bit and is more of a pinkish color. It does not itch. It does not burn when I pee and my penis and scrotum look completely normal with no signs of bumps or lesions or blisters. I have a bit of a tingling sensation but all over my Genitals but it could be anxiety related because I’ve been freaking out about this all week. Do you have any advice doctor? Am I just freaking out or should I be concerned, the cold I got does scare me since it was so soon after the encounter and then the rash showed up.
