So...I guess this is kind of a follow up to older questions.
In short I have had 3 herpes Igg test since my possible exposure.
1 week after, 8 weeks after, and 16 weeks after. All were negative for Hsv 1 and Hsv 2..as all other std tests were negative too.
I have been diagnosed with prostatitis and have been dealing with that for last 3 months without much change. (random pains, burning, itching in groin, thighs, buttocks, and pubic area). I've also had a very sore penis tip and it's also very sore under the glans around the area of my circumcision. (like is raw feeling and occasionally tingles and hurts horribly when rubbed against my underwear) I have had a couple doctors see it and think nothing of it..and have tried lotrimin and a steroid cream from my doctors with no improvement. (although..I wasn't very vigilant with the lotrimin)
So, at around to today around 18 weeks post possible exposure I am seeing a couple very tiny sore spots on my shaft. They look slightly red and flat and don't hurt, but look like the skin was rubbed too hard in those spots. The spots go halfway around my shaft so it's not like I was extra hard on one area or whatever and rubbed it a little much. They don't look like much and I have to stretch out the skin to really see them, but I've been on a crotch watch everyday for over 4 1/2 months and they are definitely new. They are so tiny and are not puss filled or crusted over and are not blisters or anything...so there is no fluid to sample I believe. ... just a couple spots (very tiny) were the skin looks rubbed to hard...I know the skin on the shaft below the glans is very thin to begin with so maybe I did that from masturbating...but I've never noticed that before. (as per my urologist; I need to have sex 4 times a week)
I have spent countless hours reading the great advice on this site and have read that at 3-4 months the igg test should be considered definitive with the result. Meaning that if I have herpes I should have had a positive Igg test by now (meaning at my 16 week test).
Should stop wasting my time worrying about herpes or is it worthwhile to pursue another test.
Again, thank you all for your wonderful advice and help.
