Hsv 2

As usual i went for my annual blood work and asked for herpes testing.  Never had any symptoms but I just go routinely to get everything checked.

Ques. I went to get tested in june bc i started a new reslationship and hsv 2 igg was negative. My partner got tested in September and he was negative for hsv 1 and 2. He was the only person i had sex with but between then and now i kissed 2 people.

Im completely paranoid that i might have some how contracted hsv 2 from kissing? Or through some other way.  What are the chances that i did?

My results are still pending and tomorrow will be a full week. Not sure if veterans day delayed the process but i cant take the anxiety anymore.

Any info is greatly appreciated

You have no reason to worry about acquiring hsv2 from kissing. Hsv2 really effects the mouth and when it does, it does no shed often. I’m sure your tests will both be negative.
