Dr says I am positive for HSV 1

I was recently tested for all STDs because I have been having a recurring yeast infection since last November. I have been taking fluconazole on and off since. This last infection was really severe and it started on a Sunday. I made a doctor appt for that following Wednesday where I was tested. My results came back positive for a yeast infection and negative for everything else...except the herpes blood test. My result was <0.90. According to the graph that was posted with the results,  is positive. There was another standard graph that said 0-0.89 was normal. My doctor says I am positive for HSV 1. Can someone please explain to me how she came to that conclusion? I have never had any symptoms of HSV 1...been tested for it earlier this year and a few years back...all negative. I have no sore, lesions, bumps...nothing except for a yeast infection that is currently being treated and my symptoms are subsiding from the fluconazole I am on. I'm so lost and so scared because I haven't been around anyone with it and my boyfriend tested negative so how can I have it and he doesn't?

Let's try it this way: less than 0.90 is negative, 0.90 to 1.10 is equivocal, and 1.10 and greater is positive.
