Encounters with sex workers. Worried.
I am a 23 year old Asian male.
Had protected sex several times with sex workers in China in the past 2 years.
Had unprotected oral sex that lasted for 1 minute once with a sex worker.
After that unprotected oral sex encounter, 2 months post-oral sex encounter,
one or two small red spots started to appear on my arms, they were a bit itchy.
Then they would disappear the next day.
The pattern is like this:
1/2 spots on arms or back of my palms, itchy, i would then scratch it, about 24 hours later, it disappears, and sometimes would leave some pigmentation.
then my arms would be free from any of these for perhaps a few days, sometimes weeks, and then 1/2 spots would appear again on my arms or back of my palms... same pattern...
And my girlfriend seems to experience sth similar now. And she doesnt know what is it about ( i didnt tell her about the above)
Grace.. I am very worried. Do I need to get tested? And is it life -threatening????
PLEASE . I AM VERY depressed now and feel that there is no hope.. please help me

I wouldn't bother. just start practicing protected sexual contact from this point forward so you don't worry yourself like this :)
thank you for your reply Grace! I had seen a doctor in the UK and he quickly dismissed it as 'some sort of infection that needs no further action' ....

please be patient!
you have no reason to think that the rashes on your arms are herpes. have you been following up properly on them with your medical provider to try to figure out what is going on?

One more thing to add: the spots do not appear on the exact same spot the last time they appeared
One thing to add. I also got a 'rim' job when i had that unprotected oral.
And I had had several paid massages by some Asian girls
