Equivocal, but I have very tiny bumps

I went to the to a walk in clinic the other day and asked the doctor to do an STD test on me. I also showed him my penis because I had tiny little bumps on the edge of the head of the penis. He said it could be herpes but he wasn't sure so he sent me to get tested. Today I went for the results and he said the results were equivocal and IgM but he was positive it was herpes by what he saw. I am really confused about what it is. I wanted to know if you had more input, I am also going to see my primary care physician this week. If you had a different opinion I would really appreciate it.

it was way too early for herpes blood testing. at this point you need to wait and repeat your blood test 3 or 4 months after the last time you had sex.

when was the last time you had sex prior to these symptoms?

tiny little bumps sound like pearly papules more than herpes.
