False negatives? HELP

I don't even know where to begin with this..

In march I went on a trip with my partner, 14 days later I had symptoms of herpes.  Almost like clockwork.  I went and got tested, had a pos on culture, neg on blood (.91 IgG)

my partner got her blood tested in april (she lives on the other side of the country)  & had a pos result on IgG at like a 4.6 something.

its been really really rough since, with accusations and whatnot...

She got retested last week, result came back in today as negative.

I get retested tuesday, how do I handle this situation?
I haven't cheated, and I know she hasn't been cheating on me either, but we are in this situation now.

What do I do?
What are the chances of my being negative?
What are the chances she received a false negative?

Ok, the 4.6 is a conclusive positive. All the evidence points to her giving you the infection. If she has had no symptoms then she didn't know she had it. This is common.

Igm tests are really useless. They shouldn't be given as they are very unreliable. Igm look for antibodies as well. Igm a ti odies in theory are tbe first on the scene. Have her retest with an igg blood test.
Ok, i reread this post and im a bit confused. Was your blood test an igm or her second test an igm? Sorry I'm just trying to get all the facts. Was your culture positive for hsv1 or hsv2?

As far as couple drama. I haven't a clue. Hsv is common and many people have it without knowing. She can come here and we can try to help ease her mind

My test was a swab & IgG, pos on culture, neg on blood (.91 equivocal/negative)

im not 100% sure on if her test was IgM or IgG / elisa

she states she was given no paperwork as proof of negative result, i said that was bs
her previous "test" result was > 4.6 on index, guessing elisa test?

Your positive culture trumps a negative blood test. If this was your primary outbreak then the igg test would be negative. Igg blood tests look for antibodies you make to combat tbe virus, not the virus itself. This takes weeks to months to show up. Your culture was positive because it found the actual virus.
As for her 4.6 that's a definite positive. Sometimes tests will fail to see the antibodies. Have her retest. Being that was your primary outbreak it's more than likely she gave it to you.

& If it was IgM not IgG?
I'm 99% sure she's asymptomatic and in denial... are there any good readings on how to deal with the relationship drama?
