Found a bump on my genital area, is it herpes?

Just to get this out there I trim my pubic area. Well today when I was cleaning up I found this bump about the size of a pencil eraser on my pubic area. It doesn't hurt but I don't know what it could be.  I've been sexually active with my boyfriend of 1 year for about 9 months now and never felt or seen anything like this before.  He doesn't have any symptoms or signs of herpes but I just don't know what it could be and we're both terrified and I'm worrying my self sick. Does anyone know if this is a sign of herpes and if no then does anyone know what it could be?

I don't believe you have herpes. Herpes is bumps filled with liquid and they hurt kind of. The bumps spread and your skin gets irritated. You need to get checked out by the gyn and they can tell you right away. You should go asap. It sounds like it could be a wart maybe if I had to guess. Warts caused by the Human Papiloma Virus. The virus is spread sexually. It's more common in teenagers and young adults under 30. You need to get checked out tomorrow. I'm not saying you have this but it sounds like it. Good luck.
