GHSV??

30-something male ...never stepped outside of marriage...

I have HSV1 thought I contracted it in early 2016.. after receiving a non sex massage... just hand to genital brief... made her stop.

.Dr said it was contracted some time ago and not from that....

just recently I had a lesion no blister at the base of shaft.twice. Once after masterbation and one after sex...after that went away had another mid way on shaft following sex... never any blisters...the lesions were not there before sex but just after as if the skin got shafed...

First 2 on separate times were gone in a week... I have one now since a few days ago... and is healing

opinions... is this GSHV... if did contract in Jan... would it/does it take this long to have sores?? Was tested twice... neg for HSV2.. very confused...

Thank you

See if you can get the numeric value. There are low false positives. Either way I don't believe your infection is genital. It's far more likely it's an old long standing oral infection.

I believe my igg was around 3. or a 5. for HSV1....and HSV2 was at .37 Tested 3 times for (2) all in range... also these lesions did not itch or burn.., slight tingle but that's it.... did scab and gone in a week....

Igm is useless. What was your igg numeric value?

Your Dr is correct as there is no way you contracted hsv from the massage.
How were you diagnosed with hsv1?
This really does not sound like genital hsv. The fact it comes on after sex or masterbation doesn't ring true for herpes.
