Genital Bumps

Six days ago I discovered some little bumps on both sides of my genitals. They haven't changed since then. They don't itch or hurt at all. I saw my doctor and he's not sure what it is. He thinks it's either irritation from shaving with a dirty electric razor, flat warts, or, unlikely, herpes. He just wants me to keep an eye on them for a while. Anyone have any ideas for resolving this? I mostly want to make sure that it's not herpes.

Thank you for your response. What do you mean by long-term herpes, and PCR? And DNA?

Hi, herpes are not under the skin bumps but topical open sores or razor type cuts for the most part. Start of by having a blood test. Long term herpes would only have sores on one side not on both. Sounds like a shaving issue. You can also have a PCR swab culture of the bumps to see if any DNA shows up.
