Genital hsv 1

Hi there I have been newly diagnosed with hsv 1, I have had this for 10 yrs. I was mis diagnosed, 10ish yrs ago I had what i was told was impetigo on the side of my breast which cleared up then went, no swabs were taken, then about 6 months after that I had a very similar itchy rash on my bum cheek which I had checked and was told it was impetigo again with no swabs taken. Wll that was wrong and I do intact have hsv 1 which is annoying but hey, Ive had it 10 yrs already.
I do have a question though, would the rash on my breast likely to have been hv1 or is that not at all possible, being its now on my bum?
I did date a guy with coldsores around the time of the second rash but I do wonder.

also after the first one on my bum I had nothing for 3 yrs and then they started to come really regular when i was in a bad relationship, then they stopped for months after I left him but now they are appearing regular again since I moved to a hotter climate, could the climate cause this.

since i have had it i have not passed it on and thinking it was impetigo i have never been careful, am i just lucky with this or is that the case, my current boyfriend has not shown any signs and we have been doing everything with no caution for a yr now, even when i had a OB could he have some kind of defence to this or has he probably got hsv 1 and not show any signs.
thanks

I'd see an immunology specialist. This most likely represents an immune system issue that could be enhanced to reduce outbreaks. There are numerous immune deficiencies including those of the thyroid for example.

could the rash on my breast have been the same thing or is it impossible for it to move from breast to buttocks.

I had a swab while I had a outbreak which i did because I was told it looked like herpes which it does, it only ever itches blisters for 2 days max then scabs, the test must have been type specific because he told me the type and it makes sense with my ex getting coldsores and it seemed to start when I started dating him. I read that hsv 1 is uncommon to re accrue this frequent but I do get it maybe 5 times a yr, apart from those 2 breaks?

This doesn't sound like HSV1. What confirmed the rash as HSV1? Did you have a blood test?
