Sorry for that, I should have read the rules prior to posting them.
I always appreciate your positive outlook! I am just curious if you clicked on the pictures to see them full size or if you are saying that everything looks complely normal based off the thumbnails you saw?
we don't allow photos of genitals to be posted on medhelp. they will be removed as soon as the mods get a chance to do so. we don't look at photos here of any body part as is explained in our read before posting post on the top of the forum.
lysine doesn't do anything for herpes. wasting your time and money taking that.
since I had to look at all your pictures to report them, I couldn't help but notice that every single thing you posted is COMPLETELY NORMAL!!!! you are worrying yourself needlessly. you have pearly papules of the penis which aren't std related or anything you can treat. inside your mouth you have what look like fordyce spots though they might also just be normal discolorations you are taking more notice to too.
I think you are obsessing at this point over all of this to be honest. time to put away the camera, cover the mirrors and move past this!

I took these photos because the rash/bumps on my head are more noticeable when erect. Of course my doctors have not seen this, so to them, appears only as a lighter pink patch. The only white patch is on my shaft; just below the head...any white that appears on the head of penis is just a reflection from the cameras flash.
It has now been 11 weeks since my initial symptoms and constant discomfort. I have since seen a total of 3 doctors, including 1 dermatologist. I was given an antifungal gel (Xolegel) that did not do anything. I have been taking 1500mg of Lysine daily for about 5 weeks. I was retested for HSV1/HSV2 (IGG type specific) 68 days post exposure and am still negative with a value of .2 (same as before). Also retested for cylamidia and gohnnoria, both negative.
The worst part now is, whatever this is has spread to my mouth. I noticed a slight sting on my lower lip when drinking orange juice. I looked in the mirror and saw a teeny tiny open ulcer on my lower lip. I also saw about 5 tiny (pinhead sized) clear vesicles. Over the next week my entire lower lip turned a light pink and my throat had what my primary doctor called cobblestone. It does not hurt to eat or drink or at any time. The most unsettling symptom is gingivitis that occurred within a week. There are parts of my gums that feel loose and bleed when there is any type of suction in my mouth. Also bleeding every morning when brushing my teeth and a slight bleeding throughout the day.
Aside from that I feel a mild, dull achiness in my groin/upper rear thigh.
Occasional sharp pain in my prostate.
A slight burning after, not during, urination.
Also within the last 2 months, I have had a unusual, intensely itchy spot 3 separate times (once on the webbing between my thumb and forefinger, once on my palm-ring finger and once on my inner forearm.) The first one looked exactly like a bad mosquito bite, which I thought it was, until I realized that it had completely disappeared in a couple of hours. The other 2 times it resembled more of a flea bite, a smaller white puffy circle.
If this is herpes and my initial outbreak, does it make sense that my blood test would still be negative because I obviously have not developed any antibodies to get over it. Could this be back to back outbreaks and seem like a never ending outbreak due to my unbelievably high level of stress? PLEASE HELP! THANKS!!
if you are still having symptoms, return to be seen again for further testing.
no I did not get any antibotics :/ like a pill? my doctor did not seem to think much of the high bacteria count in urine however it could have just been higher because i did not give the midstream or use the wipe to clean myself prior to peeing becuase i didnt know what it was for..or thought it was to wash my hands after lol
I don't see any deleted responses so I"m not sure why it says 2 responses. I'm not signed up for emails so I don't know if they are accurate or not.
did they give you antibiotics at all?
Grace,
Thanks so much for your quick reply. I certainly will follow up with an IGG blood test in a few weeks. And as far as random hook ups, this scare is more than enough for me to learn my lesson, I will only be in commited relationships from here on out. I sure hope that it is an infection that can be cleared up such as ngu. The soreness and pain in my penis is what scares me the most. It has now been 2 weeks since i first spotted the blisters and they seem to have mostly healed, without ever crusting or scabing over... however the pain is still there. It seems to me that 2 weeks is a long time for any small wound to heal. and I have read that it will take longer for your inital outbreak to heal..
I have been thinking about my origional post too..I would like to apologize to anyone reading this who does have herpes because while I am having a hard time with the idea that I am be infected, after all the reasearch I have done it has really opened my eyes to this disease. I do not see anyone with herpes as poisionous as I stated earlier.
Thanks again, and I encourage anyone reading this to reply with thier thoughts. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
(also, i got an email from medhelp saying that there was 2 new responses to my question, but I only see one? Anyone else have this problem? )
oral sex overall is very low risk. ngu is your biggest risk and your symptoms as well as bacteria in your urine is showing that you probably did catch that. did they prescribe any antibiotics?
your symptoms don't sound like warts either. you won't pick warts off that easily either and it they would hurt a lot as you were doing it.
to best protect yourself, you should be having protected oral sex and protected genital sex with partners whose std status you aren't sure of. random hook ups call for barrier protection. Proper use of a condom will reduce hpv by 90%. It reduces bacterial std's even more. It only reduces herpes transmission by 30% on average but it still helps. Proper use means the condom goes on when the clothing comes off - just waiting for actual penetration leaves you vulnerable.
follow up on these if you get a return of symptoms but odds are the rash you have isn't std related.
