HERPES TEST ONLINE POSITIVE
I recently just took a herpes test on stdtestexpress.com and the scores were a shocker to me.
last time i was with someone was about 4 years ago unprotected. I had gotten in contact with
her and was told she recently had a baby and was checked for all STD which came out negative
. Now i just dont understand why my hsv-2 is soooo high, its soo high i cant even consider it being a false positive.
IM so stressed out right now. I dont sleep around and only had two partners in
the last 10 years. 1 whom ive had unprotected sex with. Now is there a posibility that this test was a false positive?
I've had minor skin rashes on both sides of my elbows and arm and rashes on the top of my thigh on both sides.
The rash looks nothing like herpes, just raise hair folicles that were itchy on both sides. none have turned into boils or lesions.
ive had two pimples right below my belly above my pubic line that i popped and swelled up a little bit. but no puss no liquid or nothing(scabbed up after about a week).
Been to the doctors and got blood tested few years back after my initial arm rashes.
He had told me that my anti bodies for hep c were active. but told me i didnt have hep c.
Before i went in to take the stdtestexpress i was up for about 20 hours stressing about
having herpes (i get like that from time to time) was really fatigued and had smoked a bunch
of joints and cigarettes before i had blood drawn. Im really stressed out. Im not a type of person
that should have this due to the fact i dont sleep around and have a really active sex life.
If people would give me some ideas on what they think. Im asian american age 28. not in the best shape but then again not fat.
i smoke weed occasionally have a ****** diet (mabey eat only once or twice a day) and i know my
blood is somewhat off due to the fact that my doctor said years that if i dont start eating healthy
that i might become a diabetic. My rashes that break out on my arm has been less frequent over
the years and the rash on my thighs are completely gone and have not reappeared in almots 4 years
or the initial outbreak of my arms and thighs. what is unusual about the rashes are that its identical
on both sides, so the rashes on my right elbow and arm are identical with my left. so goes with my upper thigh area.
I know they are not contagious only because throughout the years my mother and friends have touched it multiple
times with no outbreaks of themselves. If i do have hsv-2 wouldnt the rashes i have been really contagious?
Im really stressed out i seriously cant look or think of myself as the same person.
Im really going thru it. living by myself is really hard aswell. If someone could give me some insight i would much appreciate it.

also this is my first test ive had in 8 years and last time i was sexually active with somebody was my ex four years ago. The test i took was through stdtestexpress.com.After the initial results ive asked what type of lab and test was used they told me labcorp and quest diagnostics and was a type specific test. My arm rashes and thigh rashes subsided after my dermatologist prescribed me prendisone (steroid) for my inflamation. Things just dont add up especially the fact that i havent been sexually active in over 4 years. with no outbreaks of any sort other then my arm and thigh rash.
Probably but not likely. 4 is almost certain postive value. Its shows a high level of anitbodies. Less than 3 might be considered false positive and usually around a 2.5 is the guide line.
Has anyone recieved a high positive igg value above 4 and tested lower on another? even possibly be false?
Hi, well it would certainly seem positive but your rashes dont appear herpes related as would appear on only one side not both.
What i would do is have one more test from a doctor to verify. The biokit is a good one as is hsv2 specific and its quick and easy. Do this and get back to us.
