HIV positive

Hello, this morning i opened my test results online and it said that i was positive for Genital herpes...I'm still stunned as I write this. I am a 50 year man and never had any STD in my life. I have been with one women for years but before her i had sex three times with a women who i knew had herpes. We were condoms each time. I actually worn two condoms each time and that was almost five years ago. my test results came back as HSV 2 AB SPECIFIC IGG >5.00 which would indicate that i have a (very?)high count. I have never had any blisters or sores. I have, however had like a rash, which presented as how an arm would look if you forgot to lotion like ashiness...if thats a word. But no blisters or sores. I just trying to gather info and process my new reality. the 5.00 seemed rather high. Don't know if i even have a question. thanks for listening.
Is the igg test the same as the herpeSelect?

so nothing about this has anything to do with hiv?

there are many different igg blood tests. most of them are accurate when results are over the 5 range.

has your partner been tested yet to know her own status?

were you ever tested for herpes prior to this?

some have problems like symptoms i get them every four years you may be lucky and not get any :)
