HSV 1/2 IGG HERPESELECT AB TEST RESUTS

My tests came back today, and these are the following results"

HSV 1 IGG     0.92     Interpretation : Equivocal

HSV 2 IGG     0.54     Interpretation : Negative

I have not seen ANY symptoms whatsoever. I had this test done just as a screening cause I have never been tested, and came back with these results.

The 0.92 means I am neither negative, nor positive, but am I even less likely to have it since I have never had symptoms?

you don't need to keep that appointment. it's wasting your time and theirs.

thats reassuring to hear, thank you. We have been months now, so its been over 3 months for sure.

I do have an appointment with an Infectious Disease doctor to just confirm everything. I just needed some peace of mind to get me to that appointment.

since she's testing negative and so are you, as long as it's been at least 3 months since either of you have had other partners, no reason for more testing since you are negative.

I am in a relationship where we often have sex. The test wouldve been performed within at most 5 days of having sex. We don't use condoms since my girlfriend is currently on the pill.

About a month or so ago, she was tested for Herpes and the tests came back negative. This test was done maybe a month after we decided to no longer use condoms. Her results came back negative.

I went last week to get tested because I had never been tested before. My results came back yesterday with those levels. Like stated, I haven't shown any symptoms whatsoever.
