HSV 1 IgG 2.58

Hi Doctor, i recently found out a girl whom i kissed and who gave me oral sex has HSV 1 and the value is 2.58. But she doesn't have any outbreaks or cold sores or anything related since from the past 10 Years. She said she had couple when she was in her childhood age 2-3.Now she is 30

I am Scared now and need your help.

1. Will i be affected since i kissed her?

2. will i be affected since i had oral sex from her?

It's been more than a month i kissed her(French) and had oral sex -and i have no symptoms but still i am scared as i don't know whats the time frame it will actually show up?

i got tested for all kinds of STD's after the 2 weeks of exposure but everything turned negative-but i don't  2 weeks is enough to show up?

I had a minute testicle pain, frequent urination with NO pain after 2 weeks of the exposure and i visited the doctor--doctor said i have nothing besides stress and anxiety. How ever doctor give me the Antibiotic Azythromicine. and the next day i took it..I am under control for 10 Days. after 10 Days i got the Frequent urination again with NO pain which lasted for 2 Days.

Now i am scared tying back this Testicle pain and frequent urination to this Girl's HSV 1 result. I am literally confused. please help Doctor.

Hi, for a doctors reply you have to post in the expert forum but i will add the below its it helps.

Its estimated that 70% of the adult population would test positive for oral hsv1 so you may already have it as did she but just never had an oral outbreak.
The facts are that, yes if she has hsv oral you can contract it by deep french kissing and her giving you oral sex. If you are negative now, most symptoms would appear in 2 to 12 days or so. Since youve not had symptoms and she did not have an obvious sore present and considering that shedding is not that often from her herpes, there are more chancesthat you did not contract it from this one time incident.

If you do have herpes from childhood that would even low the risk due to antibodies that you would have built up.
Im just courious, when did she have the value of 2.85, was that her childhood test?
