HSV-2 Test Interpretation

Hi,

I recently got tested for HSV-2 in Taiwan. I received my results and according to it, I'm positive for HSV-2.

What I am concerned about is the blood test result of HSV-2.  It is tested in different scale from what I read in this forum. My results are:

HSV-II IgG - 44.4 Ru/mL
(negative = less than 16, borderline = 16-22, positive = 22)

I have no idea how to convert it to the other scale I've been reading about.
Is it considered a high positive?

I also have to mention that I've never been aware of any symptoms on my genital area.

Any help would be fantastic!
Thank you so much!

Hi, the different test numbers are not important, only the one you took. and if it says 22 is a sure positive and you had a 44, that would be a positive reading. If you dont trust the test, have another one back home. and the Western Blot would be advised.
