you are positive on your tests for both hsv1 and hsv2. Most adults do test + for hsv1 but most don't recall obvious cold sores. That is why testing is so helpful in determining your status.
your hsv2 igg is a low positive and needs confirmed with further testing. We recommend a herpes WB blood test to see what your status is for sure.
if you have a regular partner, they too should be tested to know their status too.

I'm sooo confusedddd.... So i do have them?
Are they both only spread sexually? Or could I have gotten them other ways?
What is the difference between the two? I don't even know much about any of this
I have no idea... I don't know if i have either... That's what i'm trying to figure out. I'm so freaked out! I've only been with one person but he unfortunately wasn't faithful when I was. So now i'm paying his price, forever! :(
Well there is a small chance of false positive for type 2, I would have grace answer that for you.
But from what I heard there is more of a chance of false neg than pos for hsv1, so you do have hsv1.
I know it sux I'm pos for hsv1 via blood test! Yet never had a real cold sore!!
Ok i appreciate your response... so I definitely do have herpes? Even though I've never shown any signs? What do I do now?
