HSV borderline and negative

Hi. I had unprotected sex on May 17, 2012. Two weeks later i had a small bump in my penis. So i took the blood test right away.
The result is:
HSV II IgG = 0.86 (borderline 0.8 - 1.1).

So i took the blood test again eight weeks later (or teen weeks after the unprotected sex).
Here the result:
HSV II IgG = 0.3 (negative <0.8).

Should i take a retest?

ngu is non-gonococcal urethritis
trich is trichomonias

it's counting down from the last time you had sex.

Thank you for your quick response, Grace. Actually, i've already went to medical professional before i took the first blood test, and he said no need to worry, it had nothing to do with HSV, or HPV. And he's very sure about it.

But i will take another test as your advice (including test for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis). What are ngu and trich, btw?

When you said 3 months, it means 12 weeks from 17 May 2012 or i sould take a test on 17 August 2012?

Thank you very much, grace

did you have the bump looked at by a medical professional?

did you cover for other std's at the proper times too? you can test for chlamydia, gonorrhea, ngu and trich after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.
