HSV infection - need help
Hello everyone,
I am very worried, after very bad flue and health problems which last 2 months I got 2 test for HSV because nobody knows what's wrong.
I had serious flue illness from October, now it's better but I have still bad leg pain and burning sensations and also sometimes my muscles are tingling.
Test results: HSV IgM : 0,67 (1 is positive)
HSV IgG : 44 000!! (500 is positive)
I am worry that I had herpes encephalitis, but my doctor said that is nothing to worry about.
So I would like to know your opinion.

Did you test for hsv1 or hsv2?

HSV 1,2
You need to get a type specific test that tests hsv1 and hsv2 separately.
It was anti HSV 1,2, and I'm wondering about that high IgG number : 44 000
