Genital Herpes and kids

I have HSV 2 genitally.  Pretty sure not having an outbreak....I say pretty sure because I do have a couple bumps on butt but they're most likely pimples.  Anyway I was in a public restroom with my 3 yr old boy and he was going potty like a big boy and I was going next to him.  While peeing I itched my butt and then noticed he was peeing on the floor so I quickly grabbed him and definitely touched his penis and area above his penis (pelvis?).  Is it possible I passed hsv 2 to him this way?  It's killing me.

Thanks Life...I always wash my hands after touching myself but instinct took over with him peeing on the floor and afterwards I was thinking....**** is this possible. Thanks for the reassurance.  Seemed unlikely.

Hi and not its not possible. Hsv2 is considered a sexually transmitted infection and needs naked genital to genital rubbing to force the virus into the nerve, not by what you describe and the butt were most likely pimples.
