HSV11 recent symptoms?

About a month ago five days after having unprotected sex with my partner of a year I started showing signs of herpes. Clear discharge itching redness burning sensation, I saw a doctor and they said it was razor burn but I felt something was off. I then developed a blister like sore which I got swabbed with a negative result then two more appeared. A month later I now have another bump its hard and doesnt hurt unless I try and pop it. I now have the  burning feeling and itchiness again and am confused. I have to wait for two more weeks before getting a proper blood test. I'm just very confused my partner says he sometimes gets a bump down there but they are from shaving and hes gotten them even before we started dating. He doesn't think anythings wrong so idk how to ask him to get a blood test. Sorry for the essay just have no one to talk to about this.

Hi, i would agree with the doctors that is doesnot suggest herpes but more from shaving. Since the swab was of an active lesion i would trust those results but the blood test would be final confirmation. Your friend getting a bump down there does not suggest herpes either as the typical herpes lesions are more clear blister type sores that are almost always painful when genital.
