Are you protected from contracting GHSV1 if you already have GHSV2?

I am curious about this, i have seen some posts here stating there was but nothing recently., wondering if you are protected in anyway from contracting GHSV1 or OHSV1 if you already have GHSV2 for a few years?  And if so would to what degree?
Appreciate the opportunity to ask this question and this forum.

I still can't find the study, but it was done by Terri Warren and Anna Wald. They determined that there was essentially no risk of getting hsv1 after hsv2.

Is there a reason you're asking?

For other readers, it's important to note that having hsv1 does not offer the same protection against hsv2.

I think it does, but now can't find an article to back this up. I'm going to do some digging and will let you know.
