Hi

I am very confused with these numbers and what they mean. I have one office saying its a negative one saying its a positive. These are the numbers

Hsv select igg 0.9 <=0.90
Hsv 2 select igg 12.50 H <=0.90
Hsv 1 and 2 igm  1.92 <=0.90.

What does the numbers with the h mean?  To the other numbers is this a positive

What do these numbers mean. Tried starting a new ? And I can't seem to post

I had a parter of 3 years then 2 night stands. I waited the appropriate time after each and tested positive for exposure for hsv2 in december dr said it was an old infection but didnt have numbers. Tested in may after appropriate time since my one night stand and had an lgg of .94

We need to know more about your situation.

Have you ever had oral cold sores? Have you ever had genital symptoms? Why did you test for HSV?

The vast majority of results less than 1.1 are negatives, but let's see what might be going on for you.

Can you give us an update with your results? Because I recently tested the same .94 equivocal  and I need some reassurance that when I retest in a couple of weeks I will come back negative for hsv2
