Herpes/Prostatits

I got hit at once diagnosed with both hsv-2 and prostatits. It started 2 months ago. Extreme irriation sensitive tip of penis, and burning. Got tested for stds and came back hsv-2.

I then went on acyclovir for 2 weeks, pain still there. Went to urologist, said prostatits. Cipro for 2 weeks still in pain. Then switched to Levaquin for 10 days. While still on the cipro I began to feel mild muscle aches. After 4 days of Levaquin my muscle aches and joint pain increased. I stopped the pill doc's orders

2 weeks later on no antibiotics. I still have extreme

The tip sensitivity is from prostatitis.  Its a classic symptom of it.

The joint pain and sore throat wouldn't be from herpes, either.  It might be from the cipro or the levaquin.  It is listed as a side effect for both, but I have no idea how long those symptoms would last after stopping the treatment.

If it lingers, you should follow up with your doctor.

Hope you feel better,
AJ

Oops what happened. Anyway...I still have extreme sensitivity and the muscle aches and joint pain are pretty bad, coming and going but always there. Its also accompanied with a sore/swollen throat I've had for 2 weeks.

My main question is about the aches and joint pain and sore throat. Can Herpes do this? I suspect I picked up the virus about 3 months before my first signs of pain. Can these aches and pains be from herpes? I'm also worried about it possibly being CFS, but not really fatigued at all. The tip sensitivity I'm thinking is the prosatitis but could that be herpes as well?
