well since there was no need for any testing in the first place, no there's no reason for any further testing!
All- I nervously went for HIV / chlamydia/ghonn testing at the month mark- all negative thankfully. Is there any need for further testing does anyone think? I know I was told no need for testing- sorry for belligerence. Thanks for all your help. Jim.
usually I ask for donations to my son's college tuition - I'm letting you off easy with just the electric bill ;)
I'm still laughing from your dry delivery of the electric bill bit at the end! Thanks for the knowledge once more- I shall be better prepared in future!
Cheers!
Jim.
Grace- thanks for your time once more;
Hello again, I think I'm over-reacting to every mark or blemish on my bottom/ anus(!) but are you sure HSV1 would present itself very obviously!? I perhaps have been wiping my bottom over-hard, but I do have a bit of redness down there- nothing untoward/ painful - could this be mild HSV1 /Ghon/Chlamydia??
The points about no risk for any STD/I in my exposure, was that because of the nature of the exposure? You say 'more than a few licks', but there was a fair bit of saliva used and certainly saliva on my anus as she put a finger in- is my exposure risk still so v low in this case? I am still thinking about Ghon/Chlamydia swab, but would you advise against these and just move on!?
Sorry for extra questions flowing..
All the best- and thank-you kindly.
Jim
Grace,
All understood. Thanks for your advice and words.
Jim.
if you got a herpes igg blood test now and it was hsv1+, no way to know if you had it previous to this orally or just what. since most adults do test + for hsv1 on the blood tests, whether they can recall obvious cold sores or not , just don't be surprised if you do.
honestly if you were at risk, we would've told you and told you what to get tested for and when. it takes more than a few licks to get a std.

Grace,
Thanks for the words- it's nearly 4 weeks now with no real signs, and as you said, that's fairly positive. Even with no signs, can I test for HSV via swabs or even a blood test to be sure- or are these not accurate without sores or the like to take swabs from?
Now when you say no need for STD testing, did you mean HIV, or all STDs in this case. I was rather under the impression I was at a risk of Ghonorrea/HSV/Chlamydia at the least, even if remote- I saw no obvious callouses/sores on the masseuse or around the mouth, but from what little I understand, saliva can still transfer these infections?
Sorry for perhaps basic questions- I am trying to read as many of the previous posts as I can.
Thanks in advance.
All the best,
Jim.
as you were already told on other forums - this was not a risk. there is no need for any std testing.
if you haven't had obvious symptoms of herpes at this point, it's very unlikely you contracted it. hsv1 would've been your risk from being licked and it tends to present with very obvious signs of which you haven't had any.

stop obsessing about this and instead educate yourself how to better protect yourself in the future so you can still have pleasure without risk so you have no reason to worry yourself needlessly like this!
there is no reason for any testing. save your money! If you have too much money, feel free to make a donation to my electric bill since it's going to be killer with this cold snap we are in right now :)
