Herpes Symptoms?

Good Evening all,

10 days ago I had unprotected sex with a gal that I do not know her sexual disease history and I am not able to ask her. I have been stressing about STDs and I am looking for some help in separating actual STD symptoms from things that are resulting from my stress. I know I have HSV1 and have had it since a child. 8 days after the unprotected sex and oral sex from both of us I have developed very small blisters in my mouth that are causing no pain. I have also had discomfort at the tip of my penis for the past 7 days. I have been constantly examining my penis and do not see any spots while flaccid. When my penis is erect I feel like there are small dots on the tip but when I go back to a flaccid state I cannot see them. From my understanding I need to wait at least 4 weeks to get a herpes test. With that being said do the symptoms I described sound like genital herpes?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

They had given me doxycycline the day of my testing and I will be going back tomorrow afternoon for the shot. Again thank you for your response.

not really. if you had them and then had sex with someone with herpes it would make your risk of contracting it higher but the odds of contracting 3 or 4 std's at the same time from one encounter are incredibly low.

did they treat you with azithromycin pills and a shot of rocephin in the butt?

Good evening. I just got my initial test results back and I tested positive for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. Now my fears of more serious diseases are over the top. Does contracting these two diseases make me more likely to have contracted either Herpes and/or HIV?

sounds like you are noticing something normal on your penis to be honest.

since you already have hsv1 orally , your mouth symptoms aren't likely to be std related either.

best thing you can do is follow up with proper testing at the proper times for std's since this was unprotected sex. You can get tested for gonorrhea , chlamydia and ngu anytime after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hepatitis and hiv after 3 months.    meanwhile follow up on your oral symptoms with your regular provider this week to try to get a better idea of what is going on orally at this point.

Also keep the crotch watch minimal.  Once a week unless you experience pain or itching.  Just not worth the stress of looking at the lil guy several times a day and obsessing over things like you seem to be doing now :)
