Herpes Tingling?

I recently had sex one time with a man who said he had been tested for STDs.  Found out later his test didn't include herpes.  The condom came off when he was withdrawing and "got stuck" in me so I'm assuming I had full exposure to anything he may have.  Herpes is my concern as I'm assuming he wasn't lying about being tested.

I'm just 3 weeks out and know I need to wait to be tested.  My concern is that I have tingling - on my hip, at my panty line both on my butt and near my vagina, above my knee, on my thigh.  It comes and goes.  All is on my right side.  Each area that tingles is about the size of a baseball.  It's a weird feeling, almost feels like I'm cold, or numb, or just general odd sensation in that area?  This has been occurring for almost 6 days and I feel like it is getting more frequent.  No obvious lesions or outbreaks.  A few spots on my bikini line on my bottom that are tiny (the size of the head of a pin) and last about 2 days and then disappear. Not clustered - about 1 inch apart and get a new one every day or so - on both backsides.  They started to appear (or I noticed them) before the tingling started.

I know someone can't say without the test if this is herpes, I guess I'm wondering if this sounds high risk?  And if my symptoms sound like hsv2?  I'm struggling on a daily basis and still have to get through 8 weeks of waiting…words of wisdom?

This is an old post I’m not sure she will respond she has never posted again since This post. So my guess is she figured out she never had herpes. If she did most likely she would have had more questions. The chance you got it from a one time exposure are really low

I'm in your exact same situation now. Had a recent exposure (two days ago) and now I'm having this tingling/cold feeling around the base of my penis and my thighs. No lesions at this time. I was wondering how things ended up for you. Just need a little reassurance.

Thanks for listening and responding.  Seriously it's a huge help.  I think my mind is running away with anxiety - which it's done before on this topic!

continues....most important is that first time herpes outbreaks would be at pint of contact like your immediate vaginal area not your legs and hips.

Hi, tingling is most always associated with someone that already has herpes and has had outbreaks and is a sign of a pending on but should not last more than a few days before a sore appears. Most common with new infections is a fever and body aches similar to other viruses that attack the body. Test at 8 weeks as an indicator or 3 months for confirmation.
Does this appear as your having a herpes outbreak? No its does not as contracting herpes from a one time affair with him not having any sore at the time would be close to zero risk.
