Herpes Type 1 Spread

Is it possible to spread herpes from my hand to my girlfriend if I touched my lip with the infected cold soar and then touched her genitals even if its 30 minutes after I touched my soar with y hand? Also, Is it possible for her to kiss me and then spread it to my own genital area?

herpes doesn't really run in a family - it's not genetic.  she should be tested to see what her status is. assume nothing!

No she hasn't. She already pretty sure she had it though. It runs in my family and she is pretty sure it runs in her family, but it just never shows up for her.

no - you kissing your gf and then her performing oral on you isn't going to transmit your oral hsv1 to your genital area. You having hsv1 orally gives you significant protection against contracting it genitally later on as well as the virus doesn't literally sit on your gf's lips to be transmitted to the genital area.

has your gf ever been tested to know her own hsv1 status?

Is it possible for her to spread it from her mouth after kissing me to my own genitals or is it the same situation where it doesn't last for very long?

People say its unlike that the virus can live that long but in the future I'd wash your hands after touching cold sore. Also why are you kissing your gf if you have a cold sore? Even if she has the virus it not a great idea.
