Several years ago I was diagnosed and treated for Molluscum. Everything seemed to be fine afterward, although there was one bump the doctor seemed to not be too concerned about (not much I could've done about it as I was in the military at the time) so I moved on with life. Well now the bumps are back which started with just a broken sore, I thought it might just be something we had done in the bedroom as there has been more than one time that I got a sharp pain in the area while we were having intercourse (not painful enough to stop of course) and thought nothing of it until more and more bumps showed up.
I'm dating a wonderful woman who is trying to get into a nursing program and after explaining that I was worried that it might be something more than just a cut/sore she is incredibly depressed that she might not be able to make it into the nursing program because of her new medical history. I'm terribly worried that I've just ruined the love of my life's dreams and I'm not sure what to do about it. It seems plausible to me that her chances of getting in or getting hired afterward might be at stake or what have you. I was hoping to get a little solace from the medical community. I want to be able to tell her everything is going to be alright, but not lie to her.
Is it different state to state? Is this even an actual possibility? I'm sure depending on where she goes it could be a possibility... Any help?
