Thank you grace for your help. Went for Herpes follow up test and its negative.
Doc did send me to a urologist and he did check prostate and every thing is normal.
He just said may be prostate inflammation due to sitting for long times.
Thank you again
thank you grace. ill go to my doctor. But I am out of town and I will be travelling for the next 2 weeks. Hmmm
any ways thanq
being seen will help you find out what is going on, it's not all about herpes!!
nothing else I can help you with at this point - follow up with your provider.
Hi grace can you please reply for my concern..
But u think its not herpes. Some other infection which can be cured.
Not an STD.
Coz I am reallly worried abt hiv and I got false poz on oral swab and went to doc for hiv blood work and she did a complete std where only hsv igm was detected rest every thing including hiv was non reactive.
I am worried if its herpes from massage whuch was like jus a month did it even carry risk of hiv or so....hmmm I am mentally tired of all this.. Plzz help.me out
time to be seen again then.
Wen I still complained about my burning even after normal uti, she did a penis exam and said it might be general fungal infection or some sort of irritation. She didnt say any thing abt prostate. Jus got one dose of azytromycin and a cream.
it's not herpes going on.
did they do a manual exam of your prostate too when you were seen?
if symptoms are back after antibiotics are done, time to be seen again.
Thank you grace. But doc did a UTI and every thing came out normal.
Burning is not a symptom of herpes but yet I donno wats going on. There are no sores or blisters.
herpes igm testing is greatly flawed testing and current CDC recommendations are that it not be drawn on adults for the purpose of diagnosing herpes. your igg testing was negative 3 months post encounter and you were never at any risk from herpes from the massage encounter.
the lotions/oils they use at those places can cause a chemical urethritis. go and be seen again and get a urine culture and testing done to check for infection from the lotion being massaged into your urethra.
