No, I don't believe you did

You should be tested for herpes if you've ever had sex in your life before. You could be infected and not know it. If you are negative, the risk of you getting herpes from him is about 3% per year, given everything he's doing to protect you. Your choice now.

I have been tested before and am negative. Have I done anything yet with him that could have resulted in me getting HSV2? (hand job, kissing mouth to mouth and he went down on me)
Hi Terri,
I am a 30 year old female who recently started dating a guy that I really like. He is in fact, wonderful and I can see this turning into something serious, if not permanent. He told me very early on that he has genital herpes. I have done the research and know the stats on this, and frankly am so upset don't know what to do. I have not had sex with him yet because I am scared, even with the odds so low (he is on Valtrex and we would use a condom). If this is someone I am marrying, worth the risk, if not - then no. I could never date again. Also, we have fooled around, I have given him a hand job and we have kissed (mouth to mouth and him going down on me). Is it possible I already have it??! (no symptoms).
I went to the clinic and i got diagnosed with thrush.
Thanks for your help.
1. Probably
2. no
3. Yes, prior to getting the blisters.

Never had a cold sore. my lower lip is just swollen and feel very chappy and sticky. I am also getting extreme dry mouth and noticed little red dots/pimple looking things on my tongue. however, it doesn't hurt itch or tingle.
Not sure what this might be. just hope its something curable. I have a couple questions:
1. if this was herpes wouldn't it hurt or itch?
2. is herpes known to cause dry mouth?
3. does herpes cause lips to swell?
Have you ever in your life had a cold sore on your lip? If yes, that's caused by herpes simplex virus, and you are already infected with herpes. If not, then I would suggest that you just keep an eye on the area for blistering. It might just be swollen from lots of use and perhaps a little trauma with the nibbling. This also doesn't worry me.
