Herpes from saliva and hand job?

2 days ago I received a hand job from a stripper and she spit saliva on my penis for lubrication. 30 hours later I developed sore throat and mild fever.
Is it possible that I have contracted herpes infection from her? I don't have history of herpes or any other STDs.
Should I get tested for herpes? If so what is the earliest time one can get the diagnosis with testing?
What test should I get, PCR or serological testing?
Thank you very much.

I don't have pain or any lesions on penis but developed low grade fever and sore throat. Could it be herpes infection?

Nope unless you kissed her. Get a baseline igg test and if positive you know it’s most likely from a previous oral infection. If you have any discharge, or sores get them swabbed.
I mean if it’s hsv1 positive you know it’s most likely from a previous oral infection.

hi rajred,
if she has herpes sores on the vaginal lips, you also have chance of contracting the virus through the hand job. Have you ever experienced itching, burning, or tingling sensations on the penis.
It’s take direct contact with a sore or by having sex or oral while she is shedding. The virus would die on her hand even if she had had herpes. zero documented cases from gential hand Genital.
