Herpes from vagina to hand to penis

A few weeks went to a massage parlor and ended up ready for sex. I put on a condom and she put some lubricant on her vaginal area with her hand, but then I chickened out and decided to just get a hand job. I removed the condom and she masterbated me with the same hand that she touched herself with. This weekend I noticed a raw red spot on the glans of my penis after I masterbated. It could have been from masterbation, or I'm wondering if it could be a Herpes lesion. Is it possible to get Herpes in this way? Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. I'm still pretty worried though. I haven't had any outbreak yet, but this morning both of my buttocks are numb and tingling. Is this a symptom?

I can't say that NO ONE gets herpes on the head of the penis alone, but it would be highly unusual, in my experience.

This is interesting information about the location of herpes on the penis.  The 'sores' I had were on the head of the penis, nothing on the shaft.

I think it would be highly unlikely that you would get herpes in that way.  A whole combination of events and viral activity would have to be present for that to come together, honestly.

Have you ever noticed anything like this on you penis ever in the past?  With masturbation or with intercourse?  Also, normally, if you had contracted herpes, you would have seen sores on the shaft of the penis, the most common location for outbreaks, rather than on the head of the penis alone.  Also, with herpes, you might notice more than one area of involvement rather than a single one.
