Herpes... please help.

Long story short. I recieved unprotected oral for 3-5 minuets from a CSW.
21 days after my meatus was irritated. 29 days later i got a read sore patch half way down my shaft. 3 days of neosporin it went away.
Dr tested me neg for clym/gono. She said i looked fine and told me to use lotrimin. 4 days into lotrimin. The red burning came back on the lower side half way down penis shaft. There were a few bumps and it burned on/off. I stoped the lotrimin and used neosporin 5-6 days later it was healed. (Roughly 30-35 days after CSW) now i have 3 very tiny skin tag like things in that same area.
My DR apt is friday to test for hsv1/2. I understand you can not tell me for sure but reading your other posts have helped me so much.
Does this sound like fungus or hsv-1/2?

I made the biggest mistake of my life. Im so scared this will ruin my kids and wife.
I was wrong and will own up to what i have done. But this laps in judgment. Is not like me at all.
Please help anything you can offer. Im going crazy with this.
Thanks so much!

It doesn't sound like herpes at all. It could be fungal, or an allergic reaction, dry skin, dermatitis, etc. It would be helpful to take pics of it to show your doc at various stages.

It seems to heal with neosporin, which would suggest a bacteria, but it could also be dry skin that is being helped by the moisture of it.

If you do test positive for hsv1, my best is that it's a pre-existing oral infection. That's going to be the drawback with a blood test - it tells you what you have, not where you have it. Since you got oral sex, you would be at risk for genital hsv1. If you had an existing hsv1 infection, you can't get it genitally, but the blood test won't tell you where you have it. The next time you get symptoms genitally, see if you can get them PCR swabbed for herpes.

PCR swabs are far more sensitive than regular swabs, and can find herpes even without regular sores.

Let me know what happens.

Your positive out look and encouraging words mean a lot to me.
Ill let you know when i know more. Thank you so much for responding to me.
You're welcome. Definitely keep us posted. :)
My Hsv/2 blood work came back neg.

Although there was not much to swab just small skinsh bumps and on/off burning. My swab test came back neg.

I feel better, still want to blood test for hsv-1  but my understanding is hsv-1 genitaly is a walk in the park compared to hsv-2 genitaly. (PLEASE correct me if im wrong)

Im feeling a lot better my igg was <.90. After 8-9 weeks.

Could these be false negative's??
If I had 1 out break already?

Im still stressed but have at least been able to function the last few days.

I trust your opinion very much. Not asking for false hope but honesty.
At this point is it semi safe to let it go and stop thinking ever twitch, tingle, pinch and scratch is a sign. I ruined my/wife/kids life.

Thanks so much!!
You weren't at risk for hsv2, so don't worry about that part of it. Hsv2 is almost always transmitted by unclothed, genital to genital direct contact, usually penetrative sex.

Oral hsv2 does happen, but when it does, it rarely recurs, rarely sheds, so therefore almost never transmits. I'm sorry, if I'd known you were this worried about hsv2, I'd have addressed that sooner.

As I said from the beginning, none of this sounded like herpes. Testing negative at 8-9 weeks isn't technically conclusive, but I'd call it a win and move on. The hsv1 IgG misses 30% of infections, but chances are really good that you had that orally anyway, and can't get it again genitally.

I'd move on from this. I don't think this was a ghsv1 outbreak - it healed in 3 days with neosporin. A herpes outbreak would last at least a week, if not longer.

Let it go. :)

I just sent you a msg because i didnt see your response. Please forgive me if that came across as rude.
Your imput is priceless. Thanks so much!!!!! Your my fav aunt jessi!!!
