Herpes test result

Hi,
I had those blisters and vesicles on the utter surface of the genital for more than one month. My doctor said it was herpes for sure. But as I just have sexual activity with my husband, and he doesn't have herpes, I couldn't understand how I could possibly get it from. So I wanted to have the blood test.
My blood test result is as the following:

Herpes1 IgG ( EIA) ................0.0
Herpes2 IgG ( EIA) ................0.0

can I interpret that I have no vaginal herpes? And if it is not Herpes what can it be?

I really appreciate your replies.

( I am taking acyclovir right now)

First I want to thank you for helping me. It is really helping to find a forum like this.
No. I didn't have a lesion culture. Should I ask my doctor to take this lesion culture? Last night I noticed a new lesion on my buttock  near the rectum. Do we usually have herpes on that part too?

if he's testing negative and so are you, it's not likely to be herpes going on.

sometimes the blood tests miss hsv1. did you have a lesion culture done of your active symptoms when you had them?
