Herpes

My husband and I are married for 40 yrs. Hes 60 and I'm 58, we hadn't had sex for a long time due to his BP meds that made him impotent anyway recently we started having sex again as his BP meds were changed , we had oral sex and my husband broke out in sores on his tongue,we are both loyal and never cheated on each other can someone tell me what this could be? I'm extremely clean so I don't know what the problem is>

His GP is ok. Have him to a blood test as well and you should have the blood test to just to confirm everyone status.

Hi, a person can have a primary outbreak on the tongue but reoccurances rarely are there.
You might what to have the sores swabed to confirm to avoid any oral sex concerns. You would need to have it done within 48 hours after appearing. No saying what it is but it really does not fit the herpes outbreak arena of symptoms.
