Herpetic whitlow through shaking hand. Help

Today i shook hand with one of my friend but his finger was swelling and also the white base on the swelling area I am not sure that it was herpetic whitlow or something else it was not on the tip of the finger but on the middle of the finger. immediately I washed my hands thoroughly but I am getting paranoid. Please help
that m infected or not.. !!

But sir, it was bloody sore too and clrar white blister i asked h that what is this, even he dont know. But when i search on internet it look the same as herpetic whitlow
