These symptoms could be caused by many things. I'm afraid three weeks is too much time past presentation to have them swabbed for an accurate result. The very next time you have fresh lesions, go immediately to have them swabbed, before 48 hours is up, in order to avoid risking a false negative.

You might also have a type-specific blood test at the same time, to set a baseline for future tests, should the first one come back negative at the same time as a swab comes back positive (indicating a recent infection).

I have had them three weeks. Sounds embarrasing, but I particularly thought it was a flea bite/bites. It is on my butt cheek,it is only on this area and sometimes gets really itchy which seems to be the only thing that makes it worse. It sometimes feels more itchy when I wear certain things. I take no medication and have not got this looked at yet as the next time I'm going to the doctor is in January. There's no pus or anything, the only reason I thought it could be flea bites is due to me having seen what they are like and it being really similar.

Hi also. Bottom line is you need to find out what it is so have then swabbed or scrapped and have a PCR test performed. Wondering and guessing accomplishes nothing.

The rash consists of a circular pattern of papules, red in color and no cutaneous expansion. It looks more like dermatitis or eczematous eruption and less likely a Herpes lesion which contain multiple sister papule on one erupted lesion spreading along nerves distribution.

How long do you have these lesions? What is the area that is pictured (looks like thigh or scalp)?Do you have any other regions that has similar type of eruptions?Do you have any itch or certain factors that trigger this feeling? What medications do you take now?Did you have a treatment done for this? Provide more information detailing about your condition.Picture provides estimation of diagnosis but not conclusions.
For Herpes you should have a active sexual activity or previous infections.Always try to visualize the picture the whole area with surrounding anatomical landmark included and a picture of close up view.
