How long do symptoms last

My question is I had what appeared to be like a Jock Itch rash on the skin folds of my groin maybe 4-5 days after having protected sex with an escort.  It was almost identical in size and shape on the left and the right.  No itching involved or pain of any sort.  No bumps or anything like that, very smooth and rosy pink in color.  I went to the doctor when over the counter lotions did not help.  She said it looked like a yeast problem and gave me an or antifungal and in a few days it appeared to be gone.  But, even now about 7 weeks later there is no rash at all but the slight burn in only the skin folds on both sides which has never really went away.  Barely enough to even notice.  The other issues that never went away were the body aches and general weakness feelings, loss of appetite, and no sex drive.  They did give me an all diseases std blood test 6 days after I had protected sex with the escort but it came up negative in all tests.  My question is did I wait long enough for the test to come back with some kind of result and do Herpes symptoms such and the aches and weakness last almost 2 months without taking antiviral drugs.

it's not unusual for fungal infections to reoccur. best to be seen again and have this looked at.

we recommend protected sex because it works! You pretty much wasted your money testing for std's 6 days post encounter because it was protected as well as it was too early for herpes , syphilis and hiv testing to be accurate.

really no reason to think this is herpes, see your provider for better diagnosis and treatment.
