Hsv 2 test after four months

Hey Grace,
I hope you can help me here. So in November I received a handjob from a masseuse. A few days after I felt this uncomfortable tingling feeling around my whole pubic and thigh area. It comes and goes. Some days my thighs will burn or my pubic area will feel sensitive or I have like a sharp burning sensation on my penis. The only thing I noticed from November on we're two small pimples on shaft that I popped and a white pus came out. These were like three weeks apart.
I took a herpeselect test at 16 weeks and it showed neg for HSV 2 .34 can I assume that's a low negative. I am positive for hsv1 since I've had them on my lips before. Could the hsv1 be giving me a higher hsv2 value? Do you feel that my testing at 16 weeks is reliable considering my other symptoms or should I test again at 5 and 6 month mark?

you waited long enough to test. no reason for more testing.

Yea I know but I guess it's just my anxiety.

Well, do you think 21 weeks is more than enough time for a herpeselect test since I already have hsv 1 orally?

Do people ever take longer than 5 months to turn positive?

Your feedback would be greatly helpful

Hay Grace,

Sorry to bother you but if you can answer some questions that would be awesome and reassuring.

So I took two herpeselect test for HSV 2. One at the four month mark and another at 21 week mark both negative
four month read .37 and 21 week read . 11

I'm still experiencing tingling in my thighs and sometimes a burning feeling in my penis. Not when I urinate but just feeling like its burning at times. Sometimes it feels like my groin nodes are sore but that doesn't last too long. There are days when I have no symptoms but it usually comes back.
Does this sound at all like genital herpes?
Can it take longer than 5 months to turn positive since I already have hsv 1 orally?
In your opinion, can this maybe be prostititis?
I went to the doctor after three and four months and STD test came back negative

Please help
Thanks

Hey Grace,
If you can help that would be awesome. So I was kind of over the whole thought about herpes last month. But know I have this weird thing going on down there.last week a purchased Lotrimin AF powder spray. I've been using it for the past four or five days. So like two nights ago a noticed a tiny little red area. If I look closely I can notice small blood vesicles and it kind of feels like there is a depression. Just yesterday I've noticed what looks like a white streak running from the corona down to my circumcision line on the top of my penis. It kind of stings or feels irritated. Could this be an atypical outbreak. I don't see any open wounds or blisters.

Should I test now which will be 5 months post massage.

Please help

you have multiple posts on the forum. it helps us help you best if you just keep updating the original post instead of making new ones.

really, you were never at risk for a std as you were told originally.  if you can't let go of the idea of herpes or any other std from this, it's time to seek out professional counseling at this point.
