Acyclovir helping with UTI like symptoms? Those with HSV please give your opinion!!
So I went to the GYN three days ago because I had some red, tender parts down there and it felt like I had a UTI. She took a look and said it seemed like Herpes, and I am currently being tested but she suggested it could be something different. She went ahead and prescribed Acyclovir, which is treatment for Herpes. I have been on the meds since then and pretty much the symptoms are coming and going like they have been for a while before I saw my GYN but it seems like the UTI symptoms are lessening a bit more now. If the meds are helping with the pain does that confirm Herpes? Because I'm reeeeeeally praying thats not what it is...but I think I'm just in denial because the meds seem to be helping a bit. But could it just be me?
Did you find out what it was??? I’m going through the same issue and I’m terrified.
